SPA Computers Ltd. is a software company based in Bangalore, India with branch offices in the US and Taiwan. SPA provides services in areas such as process control, industrial automation, telecom, and software and embedded systems solutions.

As a distributor for QNX Software Systems, SPA serves the Indian Subcontinent. SPA's partnership with QNX began in 1991, and SPA has been distributing products since 1996. SPA has experience in working with different systems such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc, SPA PLC, ABB and PLC Direct. With respect to SCADAs, we have worked with Intellution, Wonderware, Cimplicity, Citect, US Data and Tilcon.

The company has extensive technical expertise, including a strong R&D hardware division, which has developed embedded systems for various applications ranging from process control, and factory automation on microcontrollers, 80188 microprocessors, and the 386EX, to Internet appliances. SPA has considerable experience in various hardware technologies such as x86, x86 core, AMD, Arm core and Strong ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, Hitachi SuperH, Transmeta, Dragon Ball and NEC. SPA has completed numerous projects with different OSs. In addition, the company has solid expertise with Motorola's 68000 series, and DSPs from Texas Instruments and Analog Devices.

SPA's work on internet appliances includes different products such as set top boxes (with features like DVD, PVR, Real player, PictureInPicture, Cable TV tuner support, Internet support with Flash, Java & SSL, Video & Audio streaming, VideoOnDemand), thin clients, screen phones, handheld computers, and web pads.
